An introduction to your Review mode (Collection list)—what it's for, and how to access it. This guide will explain:

  • The Collection list is one of Glossika's five review modes; for more information about the different modes and what they do, see this article

  • How to add a new language course on the Glossika website

  • How to add a new language course on the Glossika iOS app/Android app

The Collection list is simply a list of all of the sentences you have learned on Glossika, and it is the least fancy of our five review options. If you select Collection as your review style, you will be asked to review all of the sentences you have learned so far, from easiest to hardest. It is literally just a list and contains no optimization or algorithm support whatsoever.

Generally speaking, we recommend using our algorithm-supported review modes: Priority or Weakest Memories.

You may wish to use the Collection review mode if:

  • It has been a long time since you used Glossika and you are looking for a place to restart

  • You'll need to use your language soon and want to cram everything you've learned, just in case

  • Some users have reported using the Collection review mode to give themselves a quick refresher in a language they studied in the past but have since moved on from
