This guide will explain:

How to update the battery settings if your device is using Android 11-14

To let Glossika play in the background on devices running Android 11-14, please update Glossika's permissions:

1. Close the Glossika app, if you have it open

2. Open your phone's "Settings" menu

3. Click on "Apps" and then select "Glossika"

4. Navigate to "App battery usage'' and set it to "Unrestricted"

5. Click on "all Apps" and select "Optimize battery usage"
6. Set "Optimize battery usage" to "Don't optimize"

You should now be able to hear your session audio even if you lock your device.

(Note: if you are in Full-practice Mode, or if you have recording enabled, Glossika will pause to wait for your input after each rep. To use Glossika on the go, we recommend using Listening-only Mode.)
